Big news this week: Volkswagon has decided to use Stuhr's remix of 'Close Your Eyes' by Ivana XL for their new VW Polo Ad campaign! The TV spot has already begun to air in Germany, and will be expanding to the rest of Europe shortly. The track has been getting a lot of attention already, so much so that our good friends at Stray Dog Music have decided to release it as a single! Check it out on iTunes. |

First things first: we're proud to announce a licensing deal with indie label Nature Bliss from Tokyo! Nature Bliss is going to release a Japanese edition of Color of Clouds' Satellite of Love, which will be available in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, China and Korea. It'll include a couple of bonus tracks for all you Color of Clouds fans on the other side of the world!
In other news, Dan and Nate are slated to produce Natalie Walker's new EP, which will be released by our good friends at Dorado Music. Stuhr and Natalie go way back to her first solo record, and it feels good to be working with her again!
Nate and Julie Bellamy are getting close to the final mix for Julie's forthcoming EP on Stuhr Records; and Dan has been working steadily on editing Nicole Atkins' new record (Razor & Tie), as well as producing Ivana XL's new album (check their stuff out, you won't be sorry!). We'll see if he can keep up his concentration during the World Cup... |
